Kiefer Sutherland is the son of legendary Canadian actor Donald Sutherland and carries both Canadian and British citizenry though he lived in California for a time as a young child. He has a slew of different hobbies, including collecting many guitars, most of which are Gibson Les Pauls. Sutherland has cited Queen as his favorite band.
Sutherland is also an avid roping enthusiast, citing his work on the Young Guns films as an inspiration and has won two contests. He bought a 900 acre ranch in Montana and has actually traveled with the rodeo and performed, retiring from acting for a time to pursue this activity.
